Alisha's Haunted House Review
I am a wimp and have been boycotting Haunted house for years (although I used to love them) but as many of you know I am ridden with FEAR! Thanks Mom. But this year I said to hell with!
We started with the Carnival of Terror in Taylorsville, Its a bit geto, but just what I need to get back in the game. And its a bragging, For a group of 6 its only $35
We then immediately moved on the Biggest and the Best (Allegedly) Nightmare on 13th. The expensive cattle herd I like to call it. $30 bucks for the fast pass and still you have to wait, but the special effects are cool. The girls behind us, NOT Cool!
The next week we deiced Castle of Chaos. This we had a free pass for (Thanks to Janet and Beans & Brews) but it would have cost us $27 (this is without the "BLOODFEST!" This is an add on of 3$. with "BLOODFEST" they give you a yellow rain poncho and splash you with fake blood and the actors can touch you (you have to sign a waver to participate, so count me out!) I did enjoy it, but would not pay $27 in the future to go.
...we were pumped and need more... but we have done it all in SLC, so what to do?
and as always the answerer is Tooele. ASYLUM 49 $13 for a regular pass $16 for Fast Pass TAKE THE FAST PASS!!! we did not and waited for about 40 people before for 1 hour... the wait was worth it. Best Haunted House EVER! Loved it. so much fun. The love it Back Baby!

Maggie gets a Cousin
Introducing Simon Mauzer Fritz! He is a very small 6 week old mauzer. His mom is a 9 lb miniature schnauzer and his dad is a 4 lb maltese. He is so adorable! He is a mini Babaloo. Maggie is terrified of him and won't come near him for some reason.

Media Darling
I finally get some press, not that I want or need it unlike my Media Whore Husband who thrives on it. The SLC Trib called my office early this week and asked me a few questions (this happens around Halloween and Memorial day, but never have I been quoted. Unfortunately it has to do with sports which is low on my list of things to talk about. but still... I am in fact a media darling. But I would like to clarify that I would never say Tombstone!
They are in fact Monuments or Memorials.
Utah football: A boot hill for Rice-Eccles
Ute football: Whittingham looks to bury opponents
Coach wants graveyard for BCS teams Utes beat
By Lya Wodraska The Salt Lake Tribune
Beating teams from Bowl Championship Series conferences is no longer good enough for Utah coach Kyle Whittingham. Now he wants to bury them, too. Whittingham possibly would like to have a football graveyard outside of Rice-Eccles Stadium with tombstones recognizing the BCS teams the Utes have defeated in their stadium. Since 2000, the Utes are 15-10 against BCS schools, which is the most wins against BCS teams for any non-BCS team. Under Whittingham the Utes are 6-3 vs. BCS opponents and 3-0 at home. "I think it would be something fun, a good thing to do," Whittingham said. Whittingham isn't the first with the desire to pay tribute to wins against highly regarded opponents with a twist of morbidity. Clemson has a similar graveyard outside of its practice facility marking Top 10 teams it has beaten on the road, and Maryland has one outside of its practice field with the names of the Top 10 teams it has beaten at home. Whittingham spoke of his desires at a recent Crimson Club luncheon, mentioning he would take donations for the project. On Tuesday he said he hasn't had any takers yet but still likes the idea. The Crimson Club, which is often involved in fundraising for such projects, wouldn't put the project on the list of priorities for the organization and would let Whittingham do the fundraising, director Doug Knuth
said. "It has already generated a lot of interest," he said of the idea. "I think fans would love it, but it could backfire, too, and get every BCS team that saw it fired up." Utah athletic director Chris Hill said the idea would have to be discussed further before he gave his approval, but he didn't sound too excited about the proposition. "We have lots of things we need to do to beautify our stadium," he said. "That probably isn't one of them."
The costs of tombstones range from $800 for ones that are 18 inches tall to $2,000 for ones that are three feet tall, according to Alisha Daniels at Salt Lake Monument. "Usually people get them for more traditional reasons," Daniels said. "But we'll do anything, I guess."

Brenda Brenda Brenda
Where to start... Its been almost a month and so much frivolous crap has happened.
House Hunting: 3 moths ago we really restarted our search for our own home. at that time we could barley afford a home with a roof. then things got better for us homes in our price range came with a roof just not stairs (even when their were more than 2 living levels of the home) but now we can have both a roof and stairs. the economy is looking bad for the rest of the country but our home search is looking up. some day we will be able to afford a home with walls and maybe floors...
YDU: Justin's work with the YDU (Young Democrats of Utah) is going quite well. For a while there, the only way to see him was to watch the news, but now that he had his IPhone you can just IM him.
Utah Politics: Things are heating up around here. Even Tres Hombres is in on the Action.
90210: Pretty much since Donna & David wed in 2000, I have been searching for my 90210 replacement. Their has been a void in my heart that Rori Gilmore, Peyton Sawyer, Carrie & Big, or Rachel & Ross just couldn't fill. They all have their own place in my heart, but will never fill the void. But now their is hope and it not just Obama in the air. Real hope is out their. I am just 3 episodes in but it's not that bad. Brenda looks like shes been smoking 2 packs a day since she left the show in 1994. Kelly hasn't changed a bit well except for the love child her and Dylan have together. I can't wait for the rest of the crew to make an appearance. Donna we know your better looking now.
Cabin Party: It was a small intimate gathering with crazy weather. We enjoyed the usual adult beverages and good times. Yes in deed good times
Maggie: Woof WOOOF woof

Family Hemp Fest
Me and my family (Justin, TJ, Mica, Mom, Grandpa and Grandma) drove to Seattle last week to visit with my Uncles and vacation.
As luck would have it the 2008 Seattle Hemp Fest was in that weekend. http://hempfest.org/drupal/
Not that me or my Family are Pot Smokers, we are just freedom lovers, and who doesn't love a festival?
Mica, Mom, Jeff, TJ & Larry on the way to Hemp fest at the out door S.A.M. (Seattle art museum) Art? at the S.A.M. Its more like a sad reminder of road construction.
We made a trip out to the Seattle Museum of Flight Restoration Center in Everett Washington. http://www.rbogash.com/Annex.htm
My Grandpa is a airplane fanatic. He has made and competed in model airplane contest all over the country. He loves things that fly. So we found a museum he had not been to yet. This is the place they restore old planes for the Boening museum of flight.
Justin learning how a propeller works.
Justin, TJ & Mica with the ET plane. they are ready to phone home.
Grandpa with his favorite plane. This plane is the first commercial air line. This is also the first plane my Grandpa modeled as a kid.
Justin with the Snoopy plane. Justin loves snoopy
Mica with the plane that looks the most like a something from Star Wars. Mica was very sad we were out of town during the release of the new Star Wars movie.
TJ with the wooden ____ , this is a glider
Me with a plane? It just looked nice I don't remember what it was
We also made a trip to Aquarium
We also made a trip to Aquarium
TJ & Mica touching sea creatures.
Me and my favorite creature at the aquarium. (well a wood carving of one that is) the River otter. they are so cute and look like Maggie. We all missed Maggie. She spent the week with Amy and the Boys.
Mica taking a measurement of his quest to be the tallest man alive. He is getting there. Its good to have a goal Mica.
And TJ with his quest to be... well TJ
Justin with his quest to visit the Lenin statue in Fremont Seattle.
We also spent a day at Lake Washington Kayaking, swimming and relaxing.Every minute we got watching the Olympics.
Justin got the ultimate Seattle souvenir an IPhone. TJ & Mica lightsaber fought all over Seattle. My mom spent the day at the Mall (probably her life long dream, our family seems to vacation to mall exclusively) My Grandma got to sit around and do nothing, her goal of the vacation. As always I can't wait to go back.
Cabin Weekend
This post is a bit late.
a. I came down with a very serious staph infection MRSA and have been very very sick. I'm fine now.
b. I went on vacation to Seattle with my family.
But 2 weeks ago Justin and I spent the weekend with the Fritz boys up at at the cabin.
Our Friends Amy C., Evan and William also came up for a night as well.
Alisha Maggie & Kona on the way up to Big Rock. The Fritz Boys could have gone up and down about 5 times in the time it took me to get up there, but i made it.

Jackson and Keaton waiting for slow Uncle Justin and Aunt Alisha. Although Kona was first she came back to round up the slow old people.
Ahh finally made it, now i will rest for about 1 hours before I attempt to make it back to the cabin.
Man it's so far away, I think I will just stay up here...

I made it down a little scraped from my gracefully hiking skills. but see it really far.
Jackson on the inter tube paddling no where. We spent almost all the days at the little river, we have a great little swimming hole that the boys and the dogs love. I especially love it, the grown ups can sit and watch from he shade.
William with the larges squirt gun I have ever seen. after the boys filled it up they couldn't hold it up it was so heavy. but they soon figured out a system.
